Nurturing & Nourishing Spaces Are Hard To Find

Particularly for women navigating their health and care.

I get this, experienced it myself, and have created a safe space for you—Evergreen.

Why Evergreen?

For 30+ years of my life, I didn’t realize I felt unsafe most of the time. In many aspects of life. Not until I navigated the medical system after an Endometriosis diagnosis did I start to identify that feeling for what it was.

I’d learned to place feeling unsafe behind, “Push Through,” “Get it done,” “You aren’t going to give up,” “You can’t give up,” “It really isn’t that hard,” “It could be worse,” and so many other minimizing thoughts.

However, my body, my mind, every part of me was no longer able to answer the rallying call to ignore itself because it was fighting a disease. So, everything I felt came to the surface. And I had to deal with it.

I had to face the fact that I felt anxious, panicky, tense, and tight, like I was about to go into a fight every time I went to the doctor’s office for an appointment. I look back now and understand the havoc that amount of stress had on my body, my mental health, and the Endometriosis.

The irony is that during those visits, I was supposed to be receiving “care” to improve my health and treat the condition.

Sadly, my experience isn’t a one-off. I knew that before having my experience, and even more so now after holding space for other women to share their stories.

Even though it isn’t an experience I would repeat, I am grateful that it led me into the hands of holistic healers (all women) who guided, taught, nurtured, and nourished me. Each created and held a safe space for me to heal as I learned how to create a safe space within and around myself.

As I worked with them, listened to their wisdom and experiences, and learned to listen to and honor myself in every way, my body healed.

I help other women do the same.

My journey led me to my passionate purpose of nurturing and nourishing women, creating a safe space for them to learn to nurture and nourish themselves in the ways they deeply need and crave.

If any part of this resonated with you, come to Evergreen for some nurturing.
